As I am reaching the end of my B.A. in Education Sciences, it is important that I begin considering my options post-graduation. Although I currently work as an educator, I plan to expand my horizons and begin working as a curriculum developer and/or instructional designer.

With that in mind, for this project, I composed a cover letter for a job in instructional design. To complete this exercise, I spent almost an hour searching Indeed.com and similar websites for relevant jobs in the field. Then, I read through the job listings, paying close attention to the qualifications, skills, and knowledge I would need to possess to apply for the job.

The job listing I focused on was one for an "Instructional Technology Specialist" position at a university. On the left, you can see the cover letter I wrote for this position. Although I have written cover letters in the past, I preferred writing this one because I was able to showcase my EdTech experience and qualifications. Although this was a practice run, this project has prepared me to write a cover letter for an EdTech position in the future.
